An abyss is a deep or bottomless hole. Here is my rendition of an abyss. I do not know how I could render “THE” abyss. I believe it would be just like this — only bigger. Much, much bigger! So big! (Where are my drama club kids at?!? you have 30 seconds to state the play from whence that line comes. *Queue Jeopardy! music.*)
